The satisfaction of your feminine flow

Have you ever been doing something where you felt so entirely wrapped up at the moment, so completely absorbed and enjoying what you were doing that you lost track of time?

This is called flow state. It is when you feel your most effective and pleasurable.

Last month we looked at well-being and how balance allows us to better soak up the good things that life has to offer. This month I want to deep dive into one of those good things:

Pleasure

Pleasure reminds us that we are more than just what we can achieve – we are valuable and worthy of pleasure just for existing.

Now I’m not just talking about sexual pleasure, I am going to explore pleasure in its many forms – like playfulness, curiosity, sensory experiences, joy & wonder.

What good is all the success and achievement in the world if we can’t enjoy it- if we don’t know how to access pleasure?

We have been conditioned to believe that there is one way to do things, that work must mean hustle and grind – but that is only because of the patriarchal roots of the paid workforce. In the last 40 years, the data is catching up with what many of us knew intuitively to be true – we can achieve more when we go with grain instead of against it.

This is called flow state.

And it’s not just for work- You can use it in so many areas of your life. Imagine finding your own way of doing family, relationships, chores, exercise, and community that felt pleasurable?

Imagine being able to drop into a time vortex, where life feels effortless, where you are energized by what you’re doing,  fully aware of your senses, trusting your intuition, and accessing all of your creative life force?

How would that change your life?

I teach women how to understand their unique internal blueprint and reconnect their mind and body so they can access pleasure and flow.  I help them quiet the noise both inside them and from their environment so they can fully access their genius and energize themselves.

This is the secret of feeling alive – regardless of age. I have a client in her 70s who I have seen just blossom since we have been working together over the past year. She has a certain Joie de vivre. Often people like this are mistaken as being youthful because of their love for life and access to playfulness, curiosity, and pleasure.

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.  ”

— GEORGE BERNARD SHAW

I believe there is a way of doing business, or working and leading that hasn’t fully hit the marketplace yet. It has a rhythm, a flow that has a definite feminine feel – it has the flexibility to include relationships, time to breathe, and still gets things done.

Have you found your feminine flow?

Have you tapped into your creative, renewable effervescent energy?

You can.
